Representing Victims of Crime

There is no greater privilege than representing individuals who have been victimized by crime. As the longest serving prosecutor in Smith County’s history, I know that first hand. I spent 23 years, 16 of those as the Elected District Attorney, obtaining justice in the criminal courts for those victimized at the hands of others. While the District Attorney’s Office handles the criminal aspect of a case, the victims of crime may have a civil cause of action against the person that committed the crime.

If you or a loved one is the victim of Sexual Assault, Murder, Domestic Violence or injured or killed by a DWI driver, you may be able to recover monetary damages against the person that committed the act. I would welcome the chance to speak with you about the facts of the case, learn about you or your loved one, and discuss with you the potential for a civil cause of action and the recovery of monetary damages.

I represent victims of crime in Tyler, Longview, Canton, Van, and all of the East Texas area. Contact us today to schedule a free initial consultation for your case.
